BRENHAM POLICE MAKE NUMEROUS ARRESTS OVER WEEKEND

  

The Brenham Police made numerous arrests over the weekend.

Friday at 3:45 PM, Officer Sierra Newell responded to Fireman’s Park, in reference to a suspicious person. Investigation revealed Jason Lee Montgomery, 22 of Brenham was the male in question and he had an active warrant out of Washington County. Further investigation revealed the subject to be in possession of Marijuana in a drug free zone and also possession of a controlled substance. Montgomery was arrested and taken to jail.

Friday at 8:00 PM, Officer Alex Saenz responded to the Brenham Walmart in reference to theft. Investigation revealed that Taylor Alecia McBride, 19 of Houston, Asia Renee Houston, 19 of Flatonia, and Alasia Uniece Lache Hunt, 19 of Copperas Cove did not pay for numerous items and attempted to leave the business. All 3 subjects were arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail where they were booked in for Theft of Property.

Friday at 10 PM, Corporal David Dudenhoeffer was dispatched to the 200 block of US Hwy 290 East, in reference to a narcotic complaint. Upon arrival, he met with the subjects involved and conducted an investigation. Brande Nichol Russell, 27 of Brenham, was found to be in possession of methamphetamines. Russell was subsequently arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance.

Saturday at 5:05 AM, Officer Alex Saenz responded to the 700 Block of Medical Parkway in reference to an intoxicated person. The subject left the area in a vehicle, but was later located by the officer.  The driver, Kira Danielle Sebastian, 29 of Hemphill, was determined to be intoxicated and was placed in custody for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Saturday at 1:50 PM, Cpl. Tommy Kurie responded to the Brenham Police Department in reference to a subject wanting to turn himself in on a traffic warrant.  Westley Parks, 28 of Brenham, had a traffic warrant for failure to maintain financial responsibility. He was arrested and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Saturday at 9:00 PM, Officer Eddie Martinez conducted a Traffic stop in the 400 Block of US Hwy 290 W.  Upon contact with the driver, Rodney Coghlan, 26 of Brenham, an odor of marijuana was detected and a probable cause search was conducted. The suspect was placed in custody for Possession of Marijuana along with other traffic offenses.

Sunday at 9:30 AM, Cpl. Tommy Kurie responded to the 200 block of U.S. Highway 290 W in reference to a suspicious person. Upon contact with the subject, Scotty Eric Reed Jr., 26 of Waller County.  Kurie determined that Reed had attempted unauthorized use of two vehicles and was arrested and transported to jail.
