BRENHAM POST OFFICE ANNOUNCES CHANGES TO WEEKEND AMAZON PACKAGE DELIVERY
The Brenham Post office is changing the way packages are delivered from Amazon on weekends to businesses in Brenham and all over the country.
According to a post office worker, who asked not to be identified, packages out for delivery on Saturday or Sunday, where the business is closed, the package will be left outside the business. This includes buildings such as schools.
Originally, each office could pick and choose whether they wanted weekend delivery. But now, because Amazon pays to have the packages delivered on weekends, all packages will be delivered on Sunday as well as Saturday even if the business is closed.
As per Amazon policy, any packages reported stolen from closed businesses on the weekend will be replaced by Amazon.
Boy that sure is setting Amazin up for some huge losses not only here but everywhere, poor business move on Amazon’s part in my opinion!
