BRENHAM SCARECROW GOES MISSING

  

One of Brenham’s scarecrows that was placed downtown to help celebrate the annual Scarecrow Extravaganza has gone missing.

The Brenham Cub scarecrow from the Boys and Girls Club of Washington County has disappeared. The scarecrow was placed outside of Must Be Heaven and is believed to have gone missing sometime Wednesday night. Whomever took the scarecrow is asked to please return it, as the kids from the Boys and Girls Club spent a lot of time making it and are very upset about the disappearance.

Popular voting for the Scarecrow Extravaganza is open until October 30th.

Ballots are available at any of the Scarecrow Extravaganza sponsors including: Dona Lynn’s Unique Gifts (sponsoring Silliest Scarecrow), Herman Furniture (sponsoring Best School Spirit), Fancy That! (sponsoring Most Creative), Branded Boutique (sponsoring Cutest), Tres Chic Boutique (sponsoring Most Educational), Must Be Heaven (sponsoring Fanciest) and KTEX 106.1 and KWHI 1280 (providing the $250 cash prize for Best Overall Scarecrow).
