BRENHAM SCHOOL BOARD MEETING MONDAY

  

The Brenham School Board will hold their regularly scheduled meeting Monday evening.  On the agenda for the meeting: the board will consider an agreement with Texas A&M University on their Project LISTO.  LISTO stands for Literacy-Infused Science using Technology Opportunity.  Texas A&M received a $12 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education to research the program at the middle school level.

The board is also expected to hear a number of administrative reports on the district campuses and facilities.  They will also consider requesting Missed Days Waivers from the TEA for the days missed in August for Hurricane Harvey.

Also on the agenda, the board is expected to accept two donations to the district and announce the recipients of the “You Make a Difference” award.

The board will also go into executive session to discuss personnel matters.

The Brenham School Board meeting is scheduled for Monday at 6:00 PM at Brenham High School.
