There is a chance for more fireworks at Monday night’s meeting of the Brenham School board after a noon meeting two weeks ago. The Board will be electing it new officers for the upcoming year.
At the previous meeting there was an agitated discussion about the district’s hiring policies after the hiring of Dr. Bryan Bryant for the principal’s job at Brenham Junior High School. The discussion became so heated that Board member Ray Weiss told Board President Melvin Ehlert that he should be replaced on the board.
The Board will also get another update on the construction of new Alton Elementary School, and the renovations at the middle school.
Leslie Broesche will give the Board report on the Champion Drive Program.
The Brenham School Board will meet Monday evening at six at the Brenham High School Lecture Room.
