BRENHAM SCHOOL WILL HAVE ANOTHER LOOK AT THE SECURITY FORCE

  

The Brenham School Board will continue its work on the budget for the upcoming school year when they hold a noon meeting Monday.

The district’s finance officer Kim Horne says the board still is looking for ways to have a balanced budget while giving a pay raise to the faculty and staff, and to continue to provide for the security force at the schools.

The security force was the alternative to having an armed professional on each of the campuses, which was proposed earlier this year.

The Brenham School Board meets Monday at noon at the school district administrative offices at 711 Mansfield.
