BRENHAM SET TO OPEN SCHOOL YEAR WEDNESDAY MORNING

Doors will open on the campuses of the Brenham School District Wednesday morning as the oldest district in the state kicks off the 2017-18 school year.

Brenham ISD Superintendent Dr. Walter Jackson says everyone is truly excited to get the school year underway…

 

The district will also welcome students for the first time at its new Early Childhood Learning Center, at the old Alton Campus.

Dr. Jackson says the opening of the district’s newest facility is something really special…

 

Calvin Kossie hands a donut hole to Ashley Aguado as part of the "Donuts and Blessings" ministry on the first day of school.

Nearly 4,000 students are expected to attend classes on the district’s campuses.

Classes in the Burton school district will begin next Tuesday.
