BRENHAM STUDENT AWARDED $10,000 SCHOLARSHIP

A Brenham student has been awarded a $10,000 scholarship.

Emily Kay Preuss of Brenham, Texas has been awarded a scholarship from The Texas Onsite Wastewater Association for the 2017-18 school year.

Preuss, the daughter of Jeffrey and Belinda Preuss, will receive a cash award of $10,000 for her freshman year of medical/chemical research study.

Texas Onsite Wastewater Scholarships are awarded to freshman students of Members of The Texas Onsite Wastewater Association.

An Honor roll student of Brenham High School, Preuss is a member of the National Honor Society, and has been recognized in the Region Science fair, District History fair, Academics Watch, and Presidential Academic Achievement.

Preuss is an active volunteer in her local church and has served on several mission trips.

The Texas On-Site Wastewater Association (TOWA) is a Non-Profit Organization working to promote public awareness about and improve knowledge and technology regarding on-site wastewater in Texas. TOWA was Established in 1992 and Incorporated in 1995.
