BRENHAM SUDDENLINK CHANGES TAKING PLACE TODAY

Changes are taking place today (Wednesday) to the channel lineup of customers of Suddenlink Communications in Brenham.

Suddenlink’s Brenham system, announced earlier that they are transitioning to all-digital TV as of today.

All of the channels will only be available in HD, so any customers with TV’s not using a set-top box will need to get one.  Suddenlink says Brenham customers can get the new HD DigitaLink set-top boxes three ways.  You can order them online at www.suddenlink.com/betterhelp and have them shipped to your home.  You can pick them up at your nearest local Suddenlink store, which is at 4114 East 29th Street in Bryan.  Or you can call Suddenlink customer service at 844-790-7477 and someone will deliver them to your home.

Customers may also get the boxes today at Jackson St. Park in Brenham.

Suddenlink says these changes are part of a nationwide $230 million investment to transition to all-digital TV and to deliver faster internet.

  1. There was a promotional program “2 adapters free per costumer” during this transition!! Watch your bill; I was charged for both and the billing department informed me that the charges would be every month from then on. It took me 2 hours on the phone to get this corrected,. Hope this helps the poor unsuspected victims to become aware of this mistake if it was made on their statement/bill.

  2. Suddenlink internet has been down since last night. What does television have to do with internet?
