BRENHAM TEEN CHARGED WITH ASSAULTING GRANDMOTHER

A Brenham teen faces assault charges after her arrest Sunday night.
Corporal Eddie Ortega was dispatched to the 800 block of Independence St. in reference to an assault.
Ortega said a 17-year old and her grandmother reportedly got into a physical altercation over the use of a microwave.
17-year old Keiaria Shardai Crawford of Brenham was arrested and charged with assault, family violence.
