BRENHAM TEENS ARRESTED

  

Two Brenham juveniles have been taken to a juvenile detention facility after their arrests during a traffic stop Sunday afternoon.

Cpl. Seth Klehm stopped a vehicle just before 2:30 in the 1800 block of US 290 W.

Klehm says the 17-year old driver, also from Brenham, appeared to be drowsy and was unsteady on his feet.

The driver admitted to being under the influence of synthetic marijuana.

Two juvenile suspects were also were also in the vehicle and Klehm found synthetic marijuana on a male juvenile.

Klehm conducted a search of the vehicle and located a tan purse which contained cocaine.

The driver was transported to Scott and White for medical reasons while the 16-year-old male passenger was detained and charged with possession of synthetic cannabinoids. The 16-year-old female passenger was also detained and charged with possession of a controlled substance under 1 gram.

Both juveniles were transported to the Seguin Juvenile Detention Center.

Charges are pending against the driver.
