BRENHAM TO HOST NEW ANNUAL EVENT WITH TEXAS ARTS AND MUSIC FESTIVAL
Downtown Brenham will come to life soon with a new annual festival.
The Texas Arts and Music Festival will take place October 14th- 16th in Brenham and will feature three stages with ten bands, food trucks, film screenings, an art walk and live street art.
The Texas Arts and Music Festival aims to present a wide range of Texas arts and music by showcasing Texas artists and musicians at various forums throughout the City of Brenham.
The musical headliner for this year’s event will be ShinyRibs. Fronted by Kevin Russell of local legends, The Gourds, ShinyRibs will provide country-soul and swamp-funk tunes for the community to enjoy.
Profits from the festival will be directed to educational resources that support arts and music in the State of Texas.
In addition to the festival, the Texas Brew Step will be taking place on the same days in downtown Brenham. The event will offer a variety of hand crafted brews from across Texas and beyond.
