BRENHAM TO NAME NEW SOFTBALL COACH TONIGHT

A new head coach of the Brenham Cubette softball team will be announced tonight.

The new coach will be introduced to players and parents tonight at Brenham High School.

Former coach Jamie Maurer announced she was stepping down to spend more time with her family at the end of the past season.

The Cubettes were 25-12 and advanced to the Region III/5A semifinals, where they fell to Barbers Hill, two-games-to-one.
