BRENHAM WOMAN ARRESTED ON ASSAULT CHARGE
(Washington Co. Jail)
An early-morning disturbance led to the arrest Tuesday of a Brenham woman.
Local police were called out just before 2:30 a.m.to a residence in the 700 block of Independence Street.
At the scene, 26-year old Keliyah Chapel was taken into custody.
Chapel is charged with Assault Family Violence – Causes Bodily Injury to a Family Member.
She was taken to the Washington County Jail.
