BRENHAM WOMAN ARRESTED ON ASSAULT CHARGE

A Brenham woman faces charges after allegedly assaulting another woman at a local nightspot.
34-year old Andrea Lynn Davenport faces assault charges after the attack which occurred Tuesday night at Legends Billiards and Grill on Main St. in Brenham.
According to Sgt. Seth Klehm and Officer Mickey Gressman, Davenport allegedly walked into the business, purchased a beer, then struck another woman over the head with the bottle and fled.
Davenport was located a short time later and arrested.
She is charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Assault Causing Bodily Injury.
