BRENHAM WOMAN CHARGED IN KNIFE ATTACK

A Brenham woman faces charges after her arrest by Washington County Sheriff’s deputies.

24-year old Amanda Rochelle Phoenix of Brenham is being held in the Washington County Jail after her arrest Friday following an attack on her boyfriend.

Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in the 4400 block of Hancock Lane.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered the victim, 22-year old Fredrick Williams, Jr. of Brenham, who told deputies that he had been stabbed by Phoenix, his girlfriend, during an argument.

A records check indicated that Phoenix had an outstanding warrant for Criminal Trespass.

She was taken to the Washington County Jail, where she is currently being held on $10,000.00 bond for the Criminal Trespass charge and a $25,000.00 bond for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

Williams was taken to Scott & White Hospital by Washington County EMS where he was treated for a stab wound to his upper thigh.
