BRENHAM WOMAN CHARGED WITH ASSAULT

A Brenham woman faces felony assault charges after her arrest Monday afternoon.
Cpl. Steven Eilert was called out to the 2400 block of Stone Hollow in reference to an unconscious person.
At the scene he found a man on the ground, not moving.
EMS arrived and the subject regained consciousness.
The victim said he was hit by a car driven by his wife, 24-year old Angela Meadows of Brenham.
She was arrested at the scene, and is charged with Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon family violence.
