A Brenham woman faces stolen vehicle charges after her arrest early Sunday morning.

According to police, Corporal Lance Weiss was called to the 200 block of Barbee Street in reference to a stolen vehicle.

The caller said he had parked his vehicle by his residence and left the keys on the floorboard.

He told Weiss, he believed the truck had been stolen by a woman who witnesses said was asking for a ride.

Just after 8:30, Cpl. Tommy Kurie spotted the vehicle at the intersection of Blinn Blvd. and Main Street.

Kurie pulled over the vehicle and arrested the driver, 44-year old Letitia Fioni Nickerson of Brenham.

Nickerson is charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
