BRENHAM WOMAN ON TRIAL FOR BURGLARY
Jury selection has begun in the trial of a 51-year old Brenham woman charged with burglarizing a home with the intent to steal jewelry.
Jan Renee Folterman has a criminal history dating back almost 20 years, beginning with a conviction for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in 1995.
Folterman is being tried for breaking into a home on April 25th last year in an attempt to steal jewelry. Burglary of a habitation is a second degree felony with a maximum punishment of up to 20 years in prison.
