BRENHAM WOMAN SENTENCED TO FOUR YEARS IN PRISON
A Brenham woman has been sentenced to four years in prison after pleading guilty in 21st District Court.
19-year old Kirbie Rogers of Brenham pleaded guilty to a charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. She was arrested after allegedly shooting a 7-month old child with a B.B. gun.
Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon is a Second Degree felony.
Also sentenced in District Court:
19-year old Dillian James Sweed was sentenced to two years in jail on a charge of Theft of Property between $2,500-and-$30,000.
Sweed was arrested back in July of last year following a traffic stop with two others where they had numerous tools used in home break-ins.
39-year Kimberly Renee Garcia of Bryan had her probation revoked for a 2012 conviction for Conversion of a Controlled Substance for Personal Use- a State Jail Felony.
She was sentenced to nine months behind bars and fined $1500.
And, 28-year old Brande Nichole Russell of Brenham was sentenced to six months for Possession Controlled Substance – a State Jail Felony.
Russell was also placed on eight years’ probation and fined $2000 for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity – a First Degree Felony. She was also ordered to perform 200 hours of community service.
