BRENHAM’S “UPTOWN SWIRL” COMING IN JANUARY

  

Main Street Brenham’s popular wine tasting event is just around the corner in January.

The “Uptown Swirl” in Downtown Brenham is set for Saturday afternoon, January 13th.  From 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. that day, wines from around the world will be available for sampling in downtown stores.  The “Uptown Swirl’s” popularity has grown each year, with over a thousand people now expected to attend.  You can stroll from shop to shop, enjoying different wines while listening to live music on the courthouse square.

Commemorative wine glasses for admittance to the “Uptown Swirl” are on sale now at downtown Brenham stores, and online at www.downtownbrenham.com.  The glasses are $35 through December 31st, and $40 each after that.  Sponsors of this year’s “Uptown Swirl” include Cathy Cole of Heritage Texas Country Properties, H.E.B., and Kameleon Interchangeable Jewelry sold exclusively at Dona Lynn’s Unique Gifts.
