BROWNSVILLE MAN ARRESTED IN LOCAL TRAFFIC STOP
A Brownsville man faces a charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance after his arrest Brenham.
Thursday night, around 6:20, Cpl. Hunter Andras conducted a traffic stop in the 2000 block of S. Blue Bell Road.
Cpl. Andras utilized his K9 partner for a free air sniff search and was also granted consent by the driver, 26-year old Ives Paz of Brownsville, to search the vehicle.
During the search, Andras located a vacuum sealed bag, which contained Cocaine.
Paz was taken into custody for Possession of Controlled Substance.
