BRYAN MAN ARRESTED AFTER FATAL HIT-AND-RUN
Bryan police say they have arrested a man after he fled the scene of a deadly crash, authorities say he caused.
25-year-old Juan Hernandez reportedly rear ended a car with his truck on State Highway 21 just after midnight Sunday. He then allegedly fled the scene.
The driver in the other car was taken to the hospital where she died from her injuries.
A witness followed Hernandez then contacted police when he stopped in a yard on Nuches Lane. Police say Hernandez was intoxicated and told them he left the scene because he was in shock.
He was charged with intoxication manslaughter and accident involving death.
