BUCS MOVE UP TO #15 IN NEW N.J.C.A.A. POLL

The Blinn Buccaneers have moved up to #15 in the latest NJCAA Football rankings.

The Bucs (2-0) are coming off a 38-3 win over Texas A&T, Saturday night at Cubs Stadium.

In that win, freshman quarterback Caleb Hill of Brenham threw for 245 yards and four touchdowns in his first collegiate start.

The Bucs were un-ranked in the pre-season NJCAA poll.

Previous #2-ranked Trinity Valley is off to an 0-2 start and slipped to #19 in this week’;s poll.

The Bucs face Tyler (1-0), who moved up to #8 this week, in the Southwest Junior College Football Conference opener at Lindale High School, Saturday night.

East Mississippi, who opened the season at #1, remains on top, garnering all nine first-place votes.
