BRENHAM, Texas – In its final non-conference game before Region XIV play begins, Blinn College men’s basketball put in its most impressive performance of the season with an 89-45 beating of Houston Community College Monday night inside the P.E. Building.

The Buccaneers maintained control of the momentum for the entire game to improve to 6-1 on the season.

“I thought our first half was our best defensive half of the year so far,” said Scott Schumacher, Blinn head coach.

Coming off his best performance at Blinn in his last game, Jarius Kesee put together another solid performance in the first half and finished with 11 points in the win.

“We really needed this game to build our confidence going into conference play,” Kesee said.
