BUILDING PERMITS UP FOR OCTOBER

  

Building permits for the City of Brenham showed a large increase in October, with a total of 37 permits issued.

For the month of October, $2,448,673 worth of permits were issued, compared to $1,864,830 in September, the largest being two for Blue Bell Creameries; $709,733 for a new commercial building and another for $440,000 for replacement of an existing cold storage building, concrete slab/insulation system.

There were eight permits issued for new residences, totaling $952,800, with the largest being for $137,760.

So far this year, the city has issued $27,126,088 worth of permits.
