BUILDING PERMITS UP SLIGHTLY FOR AUGUST

  

Building permits for the City of Brenham were up slightly, with the total number of permits issued numbering 21 for the month of August.

For the month of August, $1,465,903 worth of permits were issued, compared to August of last year numbering $2.5 million dollars.

So far this year, the city has issued $22,812,585 worth of permits, with the largest being for new single family residences totaling $298,000, and a new two story, four unit multi- family building for single family occupancy for $300,000.

A permit totaling 170,000 was issued to HEB Grocery for the paving of a parking lot and removal of a grease trap.
