BURGLARIES AT ADJACENT BUSINESSES

  

Brenham Police are investigating a number of burglaries at adjacent businesses on South Market St.

Police were called Friday morning to the 1800 block of South Market to a reported break-in at Schawe & SchaweTax Service.  Taken were a check book and a valuable coin collection.

Next door, at Judith’s Hair Salon, authorities say the office were rifled thru and an undetermined amount of money was taken.

In both cases the burglars entered by breaking out a back door.

A third business at that location, Beaver Electric, reports that someone apparently tried to pry open their back door but was unsuccessful.

Police continue their investigation.
