BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE REPORTED
The Brenham Police Department reports that there was another burglary of a vehicle last (Wednesday) night.
The owner of the vehicle reported to police that they had gone to the Church of Christ on Highway 290 East to teach a class around 7 pm Wednesday. When they returned to the car about an hour later, the front passenger window was busted out and a handbag with makeup was missing. The estimated value of the handbag and makeup was over $200.

Common sense isn’t common any more.
I hate to hear of anyone getting their car broken in to, But in almost all the cases I have heard about lately, Everyone had their purse , Camera, or any other valuable items in plain view, You are inviting people to break in to your car. Hid your valuable. Don’t Leave them in plain site. I am not saying this will stop people from stealing all together but it will help…..Its just common sense really.
