BURLESON CO. HOSPITAL REMODELING TO MOVE FORWARD

  

The Burleson County Hospital District’s board of directors is moving forward with a major renovation project for the hospital in Caldwell.

The directors have approved bid specifications for the exterior façade of the hospital and additional new parking.

The board approved engineer specifications and agreed to seek bids for the work.

The total cost for the project is expected to run about a half-million dollars.

The district will use available funds and will not have a bond issue or a tax increase.

Board President Kirk Chapman says the bids should be ready in the next few weeks, and the board could award contracts sometime in March.
