BURLESON CO. S.O. INVESTIGATES THREATS TO CALDWELL GRADUATION

  

The Burleson County Sheriff’s office and the Caldwell ISD are investigating rumors of violent threats involving graduation, tonight (Friday).

The sheriff’s department issued a statement, Thursday, saying they, “…have been investigating rumors of possible threats during Caldwell High School’s upcoming graduation. This investigation has been ongoing since the beginning of May.”  The goes on to say, “There has never been any evidence to substantiate these threats or rumors.”

Parents of Caldwell High Students say they are obviously concerned about safety heading into the graduation tonight.

The Sheriff’s office says the appropriate measures have been taken to insure the safety of the students and guests.

Sheriff Thomas Norswothy said there will be at least three deputies at the high school graduation.  More may be assigned prior to tonight’s event.
