BURLESON COUNTY TO HONOR SENIOR CITIZENS
The 39th Annual Burleson County Senior Citizen's Recognition Day will be hold Sunday from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Caldwell Civic Center.
Senior Citizens Recognition Day is for those 60 years or better and honors those senior citizens that have contributed to their family, friends and community by recognizing one man and one woman with a special award.
This event, hosted by the Burleson County Forever Young Committee and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service of Burleson County, includes a guest speaker, a formal recognition of all nominees, and a reception for nominees and guests. All nominees will be honored with certificates, and the Outstanding Senior Citizens will each receive a special award honoring their achievements.
