BURLESON, LEE COUNTIES ADDED TO DISASTER LIST

  

Burleson and Lee counties are among several additions to the federal disaster declaration.

According to Gov. Greg Abbott's office, those in Burleson, Lee, Bastrop, Eastland, Liberty, Stephens and Tyler counties are now eligible for Federal Emergency Management Agency relief in connection with the storms that hit the area last month.

Residents can register for FEMA assistance in one of three ways: online at: disasterassistance.gov, by calling 800-621-3362 or by visiting a Disaster Recovery Center set up in their county.

There are three Disaster Recovery Centers currently set up in the Brazos Valley, including; the Washington County Fairgrounds in Brenham; the Bryan High School Blue Campus; and, Todd Mission City Hall in Plantersville.

The hours for each center are 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and closed Sundays.
