BURTON 2ND GRADERS RECEIVE SWIM SAFETY LESSONS

  

Burton second graders took part in swim safety classes at the Blue Bell Aquatic Center this week.  The classes were taught by the staff at the aquatic center.  The second graders were taught how to float on their back, tread water and how to stay calm until they were rescued.  They practiced wearing life jackets and how to react if they were being rescued.  They also learned what to do if someone else is in distress in the water. Photos courtesy of Burton Elementary School.
