BURTON AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY BRINGS PAINTING WITH A TWIST TO BURTON
On Sunday May 1st, the Burton American Legion Auxiliary is bringing Painting with a Twist to the Burton Community Center. Beginning at 1:30pm with a social time, painting instruction is from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Participants will enjoy refreshments, art instruction and will take home their own completed painting.
Tickets for the event are $35 and are available at Hair Depot, Burton State Bank, Market Realty and Judith’s Salon de Coiffure or by calling 979.421.2716.
Unit president Nancy Patterson says “We were looking for a fun event that would bring the women of the community together and are hoping to share information about our organization as well. Proceeds of this event will go directly to support veterans.
