  1. RE: City Compliance Officer
The Agenda reads “Consideration and Action on Hiring a City Compliance Officer with Knowledge of State Requirements and Laws Regarding City Ordinance Enforcement”

  2. Curious as to how ordinances can be enforced when they are not made public so that citizens even know what they are??

  3. a city ordinance compliance officer?, in Burton.. pop 300, seriously? What is this officer going to do, bust granny for making soap in the back yard? Before they go on some dang fool craziness, spending money on this, why not take a look at the roads in town. You have to get a front end alignment every time you go to the post office.

    1. We have a police officer one of his duties is to enforce such ordinances…the city is 1.2 million in debt so the best thing for us to due is spend more money….we’ve been incorporated for 40 yrs an we now in a ordinance officer FOOLISH
