BURTON COUNCIL TO MEET TONIGHT

  

Utility payments will be discussed tonight (Monday) at the Burton City Council meeting.

The council is set to consider approval of a three dollar processing fee for utility customers who use a credit card when making their monthly payments.

The council will also discuss an application for senior citizens which would freeze utility rates.

The council will also discuss the abandonment of just over two acres of property on Trinity Street, which will be used for a new EMS building.

Also on tonight’s agenda:

The council will consider a proposal by the Burton Chamber of Commerce for signage for the ballpark property and a temporary 6 inch water line at the Texas/Burton Street Bridge.

The Burton City Council meets tonight at 5:30 at City Hall on East Mulberry St.
