BURTON ISD BOARD TO DISCUSS CONTRACTS

  

The Burton ISD Board of Trustees will be discussing a number of professional contracts during their meeting today (Thursday).

The board will enter into an executive session to discuss contracts for an athletic director, a Burton special services cooperative director, a counselor, and principals.

Any action taken on those contracts will be during an open session.

In other business, the school board will consider the approval of a joint election inter-local agreement between Burton ISD and Blinn College. They will also consider approving the Washington County Appraisal District audit.

The board will also continue discussion on a master facility site plan during a workshop session held prior to the school board meeting.

The public is invited to attend the workshop meeting, which will take place at 5:30 p.m. at the Administration Office. The master facility site plan is being looked at again after voters rejected the $18.5 million bond issue in November.

The board will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the administrative office- 701 N. Railroad St.
