BURTON ISD SCHOOL BOARD TAKES NO ACTION ON NEW SUPERINTENDENT

  

The Burton ISD Board of Trustees met in a special meeting on Tuesday evening and discussed the profile for the next superintendent of Burton ISD.

The open session then went into executive session to review applications for the superintendent's position at Burton ISD.  No action taken.

The current superintendent, Jim Palmer, is retiring after 12 years with the Burton School District. His last day is on January 31, 2015.

The board will continue to review prospective superintendent applications when it meets in a special meeting on December 9th at 6:30 PM.

The meeting will consist of only an executive session for personnel.

The Burton School Board meets at the Burton Independent School District Administration office at 701 North Railroad Street in Burton.
