BURTON SCHOOL BOARD AWARDS BIDS TO RESTORE OLD HIGH SCHOOL
The Burton ISD Board of Trustees met on Monday night to award a bid to restore the old high school building.
Last week the trustees accepted bids from several companies, but waited until last night to award the actual bid.
The winner was Collier Construction, for $849,000. Others that bid included Don Krueger Construction, Gaeke Construction, I K L O Construction and R M Dudley Construction.
The construction and renovations are scheduled to begin June 1st.
