BURTON SCHOOL BOARD TO CONTINUE DISCUSSION ON HIRING NEW SUPERINTENDENT
The Burton Independent School Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, December 2nd at 6:00pm to discuss establishing profiles for a search for a new school superintendent.
In the planned Executive Session, the Board will discuss and review applications for Superintendent.
The current superintendent, Jim Palmer, is retiring after 12 years with the Burton School District. His last day is on January 31, 2015.
The Burton School Board meets at the Burton Independent School District Administration office at 701 North Railroad Street in Burton.
