BURTON SCHOOL BOARD TO DISCUSS SALARIES, TUESDAY

  

The Burton School Board will discuss salaries and benefits when they meet Tuesday night.

Members of the board will discuss staff salary increases, employee benefits and changes to supplemental salary schedules at their monthly meeting.

The board is expected to discuss a $1,000 teacher pay increase being proposed in the special session of the state legislature.

Board members will also consider approval of the Washington County Appraisal District 2017-18 budget and surplus funds from this year’s budget;

Board members are expected to go into executive session early in the meeting to discuss personnel.

A number of board policies and investment policies are also on the agenda.

Tuesday’s meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. in the administration office, 701 N. Railroad St. in Burton.
