CALDWELL ISD SELECTS NEW SUPERINTENDENT FINALIST

  

The Caldwell ISD Board of Trustees have selected a finalist to become the permanent superintendent of the school district.CALDWELL HS FEATURE

On October 13th the trustees will vote to hire Andrew Peters as the new superintendent. Peters has served as the Marfa ISD superintendent for the past four years and has been a public educator for the past 26 years. He began his teaching career in Bay City as a special education teacher. Peters has also taught second grade and served as a principal and chief finance officer.

Dr. Jon Dan Lee has been serving as the interim superintendent since mid-August, when Dr. Tim Cuff submitted his resignation. Dr. Cuff had served just over a month as the Caldwell superintendent when he told the school board that he accepted a position with Brownsville ISD as principal at Gonzalez Elementary School.

Andrew Peters is expected to begin his work as the new superintendent on October 24th.
