CAMERON MAN ARRESTED ON CHILD SEX CHARGES

A Cameron man faces charges after his arrest in Brenham on indecency with a child and sexual assault charges.
Members of the Brenham Police Department’s Fusion Unit, Criminal Investigations Division and Deputy Constable William Shepherd arrested 39-year old Timmie Alvarado Jr. of Cameron, Thursday afternoon.
Alvarado was arrested without incident in 200 block of West Main.
His arrest comes after an investigation by Det. Mike Davis into allegations made against Alvarado.
Alvarado was transported to the Washington County Jail; his bond was set at $750,000 for the sexual assault charge and $250,000 for the indecency with a child charge.
