CANNABIS FARM BREAKS GROUND IN SCHULENBURG AREA

  

Located on Seville Farms just west of Engle in southern Fayette county, a low-THC cannabis farm has been conditionally approved to being their operations according to their application filed with the Texas DPS.

The company behind the facility, Cansortium Texas, has the Schulenburg address of 8637 West US Highway 90, which is the same as Seville farms.

Bulldozers have already been spotted moving ground on the property as recently as Tuesday, May 23rd. Most of the Cansortium’s application paperwork has been withheld pending a review by the Attorney General’s Office.

What has been revealed, however, shows the business to be owned by a privately owned company out of Coral Gables, Florida. The name is listed as Knox Medical, LLC.

Currently the State of Texas allows only epilepsy patients to receive low-THC level cannabis as a part of their physician approved treatment program.
