CASE FROM OCTOBER DISMISSED BY THE DA’S OFFICE

  

The Washington County Distict Attorney’s Office reports that a case from earlier this year has been dismissed.  The case against Chad Eberly of Chappell Hill was dismissed this week.

Chad Eberly was arrested in October for Assault with a Deadly Weapon after a confrontation occurred with another driver.  Brenham Police arrested Eberly after the other driver reported that the suspect made a threat while displaying a firearm in their direction.   Eberly contends that he only had his cell phone in his hand and was attempting to take a photo of the other driver and their vehicle.  The case was dismissed by the District Attorney’s Office this week.
