CHAMBER CENTENNIAL PICNIC HAPPENING FRIDAY

  

This Friday the Washington County Chamber of Commerce will hold a special Centennial Celebration Picnic to celebrate its 100th anniversary.

The community-wide picnic will take place from 11am until 2pm in Fireman’s Park in Brenham.

Washington County Chamber Business Programs Manager Shae Janner says they wanted to hold the event to show appreciation for members of the community:

Another special feature will be the Centennial Celebration Guest Book, where all will be invited to sign their name and business/organization name.  This guest book will be placed into a Time Capsule at the end of the Centennial year with photos and other artifacts, and it will be opened for the community to view in 25 years from now.

Brenham Wholesale is a signature sponsor of the event along with KTEX-KWHI, and Bank of Brenham, Blue Bell, Goodwill, and Independence Coffee.

KTEX's Trail Boss Troy will be there broadcasting live from the Friendly Country Cruiser.
