CHAPPELL HILL CELEBRATES 40TH FOURTH OF JULY PARADE

Texas’ largest and best small town parade is set to take to the streets of Chappell Hill, Monday morning.

The annual Chappell Hill Fourth of July Parade gets started at 10:00 a.m., sharp on Main Street.

Joel Romo, Parade Chairman, says this year’s parade is an anniversary celebration…

The parade will be hosting special floats for Veterans to ride.  Romo says any and all veterans are is invited to ride on the VIP floats which are sponsored by Chappell Hill Bank and Brenham National Bank.

They are also honoring our county’s First Responders with a special float they are invited to ride – especially those who went above and beyond the call of duty during the recent flooding.

Romo says there is plenty to do after the parade as well…

There will be two free parking lots available this year, one off of FM 2447 and one off of FM 1155 by the Chappell Hill Volunteer Fire Department.

KWHI will have live coverage of the parade with Kyla McCoy, beginning just before 10:00, Monday morning.
