On July 8, 2015 Deputy Michael Mc Anally responded to a call from Washington County Dispatch to Scott and White Hospital for a report of an assault. Deputy Faye Janes and Mc Anally observed the 20 year old female victim to have been severely beaten and bitten.  There were indications of possible previous abuse and broken bones. The victim appears to have been beaten with open fists as well as a hammer. It is suspected that she had been repeatedly choked.  The abuse is suspected to have been ongoing for several years.  The young woman had multiple fractures in her face, her left arm was fractured in two locations, and was dislocated. She had a fractured elbow and a septic knee.

A warrant was issued for the arrest of 23 year old Antonio Dewayne Dorsey of Chappell Hill.  He was arrested by Deputy Jason Barnett and Investigators Eddie Ocanas and Justin Bosse and remains in the Washington County Jail with bond set at $250,000 for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Dorsey also had additional active municipal warrants out of the City of Brenham. The victim remains hospitalized.

  1. Goodness! She is only 20, and he is 23, yet this has been likely going on for several years? That could possibly mean she was a minor when the abuse started! Poor girl! Prayers for her for a quick recovery.

  2. This is ridiculous within not only the community but within our young black community. This is what happens when black father’s aren’t involved in their kids life. As a black man this is shaming. When I grew up guys didn’t do this and the few that did had to deal with the father or uncles of the girl. GOD have mercy on these young men because at some point in time this will come to a head.

  3. Thankfully these officers helped get this woman the medical attention she needed and helped get this guy off the streets. Now if the legal system will make an example of him and prosecute to the fullest extent of the law, we’ll be in good shape! Abusers of any kind deserve no lienancy!
