CHAPPELL HILL MAN CHARGED WITH INJURY TO ELDERLY

An arrest has been made in an Injury to the Elderly investigation in which the alleged assaultive offense occurred at a residence near Chappell Hill, on August 15, 2015.

Sheriff’s Investigator Eddie Ocanas was able to obtain evidence and information that led to the issuance of a felony arrest warrant for 44 year old Chappell Hill resident Geoffrey Alexander Hink.

On August 31, 2015, Hink turned himself in at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office where he was booked into jail on a charge of Injury to the Elderly.

A bond of $10,000 was set by Justice of the Peace Precinct 1, Douglas Zwiener.  Hink posted bond the same day and was released from custody.

  1. This incident is so very sad. It’s a direct sign of the degradation of society. We took care of our parents during their last years. I hope this gentleman finds the strength and courage to get on his knees and ask his personal Lord and Savior for forgiveness for his bad deeds.I’ll keep him in my prayers that he do just that.
